Where to find your .run files

Slay the Spire 2 saves a .run file after every run via Steam Cloud. The files are inside your Steam userdata folder under app ID 2868840:

Windows C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your-id>\2868840\remote\profile1\saves\history\
Paste into File Explorer address bar. Replace <your-id> with your Steam ID number (check the folders inside userdata).
macOS ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/<your-id>/2868840/remote/profile1/saves/history/
In Finder: Go → Go to Folder, paste the path.
Linux ~/.steam/userdata/<your-id>/2868840/remote/profile1/saves/history/
Your Steam ID is a number — check ~/.steam/userdata/ for the folder.

If Steam is installed somewhere else, look for the userdata folder inside your Steam installation directory.

Most players only have one folder inside userdata — that's your Steam ID. If you have multiple, try each one.

How to upload

  1. Open the history folder above (or even the saves or 2868840 parent folder — extra files are ignored)
  2. Select all, right-click → compress / Send to → Compressed folder
  3. Upload the zip above
  4. You'll get a unique username — same runs always produce the same name
  5. Re-uploading is safe — duplicates are skipped automatically
